REMINDER-
CLASSMATE'S BIRTHDAYS DISPLAYED ON HOME PAGE >
For people who either wish to have their birthdays displayed or not on the HOME PAGE, you must go into your profile, and on the first page under DETAILS, near the bottom, there is an option to display your bday, or leave it blank. (the year is optional)
You will have to perform this task BEFORE your actual BDAY, if not, then it won't show up on your day this year, but will show up next year under "UPCOMING BIRTHDAYS" . Thank you!

This may ( well, ok, maybe it does) sound like it's way too early to start planning now, but I'm putting this out there so we could start hatching a few ideas on our upcoming 2013 Summer
"40th" REUNION...that's right, I said it. The BIG 40!
Can you believe it's already been (almost) four years since our last reunion. If anyone has any suggestions, on how we can make this an enjoyable event, please let us know in the provided survey . We would also like to see how many interested people would want to attend this milestone, and C.E.L.E.B.R.A.T.I.O.N.
Go over to the "40th Reunion" page, over to the top left, and answer a few brief questions. We would appreciate it. Thank you!.

Please keep in mind the following names/email addreses below that have
been "Bounced Back" to us when we periodically send out Class e-mail
notices, because of outdated, and/or unused

important class information.
FOR FACEBOOK Mater Dei '73 WEBSITE FANS
I know some time ago, I created a Mater Dei facebook webpage with my name, James M Tobin, because FB would not allow me to create a name, along with the 1973 year....finicky, I know! I just tried to make it easier, and I did not want to simply create a 'page" to link to.
I created a page that you can now find with this link...
Mater Dei Class of 1973
"MATER DEI H.S. SANTA ANA, CA. CLASS OF 1973"
I may be DELETING the JAMES M TOBIN (MD73 associated website) soon. For those of you who have used it before. I will be occasionally activating and deactivating this new site, as it is in the baby construction phase. So, if you happen to click and go onto it, please LIKE me. You may also get addtional messages about this new site from an e-mail through this site, or 'invites' through facebook. Sorry for any inconvenience.
I guess no bad news is good news these days, but just to let you all know, I'm here if anyone would like me to post anything...whether it would be a new (or old) business, to place your business card in "Business Network" page, or to let anyone know of a get-to-gether hapnin' thangie. Remember, This is YOUR SITE, and whatever I can do, just let me know. Take care, JimT.

If you happen to have an old profile
photo with the skinny black frame
around it, let me know and I will
update it, providing I can find your Senior, Jr.,
Soph.,or Freshman class photo to
replace it with. If you ever attended
Mater Dei, but graduated from another high School,
send me that photo and I will post it in your
profile. Thx, Jim Tobin
We have an INSTANT MESSAGE feature. You should be able to see the pop-up window to the bottom right of the background area. Click on it . You have four choices. Online, Away, Do Not Disturb, and Invisible.
If you accidently "X" out on this tab, to turn it back on, simply close your browser window and come back to our website." To minimize it without turning it off, click anywhere on the top red tab, except for the "X".

Thanks again to all classmates who have contributed to keep this site afloat for another few years! Very awesome of you, and no doubt greatly appreciated from the rest of your class!

YES... I'm still here, (reluctantly) bangin'my head against this wall until more classmates update their profile, add more photos,or be more active on the 'Message Forum' pages...! (Does anyone have any aspirin?)

If you have a family member or a friend serving in the armed forces and would like to share their APO address in order to send supportive letters and/or words of encouragement, thanking them for their service,or just to say 'Hello', please send it to us. There is a "MILITARY SHOUTOUT" page over to the left.

As a Class we should be proud of ourselves. The spirit that we all feel and act upon is very real and makes us a very special Class! Let's keep that spirit alive and growing throughout this website by updating your profile and posting photos to share.

If you have photos taken at the Reunion that you would like to share with our class community, please let us know. Send an email to the website and we'll decide on the best way to post them for all of us to see. We would also LOVE to have them added to our class of 1973 archives.

There is a link by Dave Burchardt to some great photos taken at the 35th reunion on the Fun & Noteworthy page.
Also, a youtube video, photos's by Dave Burchardt, video by George Herold.
If anyone has any old photos of our deceased classmates, we would Love to add them to the "IN MEMORY" pages. You could e-mail them to me, (jimt_mdhs73@yahoo.com) and I will post them.
Also, while in there, you could click on POST RESPONSE, to share any memories you may have of these fellow students that have touched your lives in any way.
________________
FYI...Since we created this site back on May 21, 2008, we've
had over forty five thousand visits, and still counting...
thanks to all of you !
If your profile picture has the old white frame, rest assured we will be digging around for your yearbook photos to update.
If you left M.D. and graduated from another school, (heaven forbid) then send us your H.S. Senior graduation photo.
SEND IT TO - (jimt_mdhs73@yahoo.com) and he will update your profile for you.
Also, The next time you edit your profile, please make sure that the "Maiden Last Name" or the "Married Last Name" is filled out correctly, so the administrators and fellow classmates could locate your profile easier, because not everyone knows your married last name.

In order to ensure you receive important messages from our class web site, as well as messages sent directly to you from other Classmates, it's important you whitelist the email address noreply@classcreator.net (that's a .net, not a .com).
What is whitelisting? Whitelisting simply means you are telling your email program to accept all emails coming from our class web site and our Classmates. The technique for whitelisting varies by email program, but generally you will see the term "Whitelist", "Safe List", or "Safe Sender's List". This is where you want to be sure you have added the email address noreply@classcreator.net.
Class Creator, the system that helps us operate our class web site, uses the address noreply@classcreator.net when sending out email messages. Be assured that all e-mails sent through our site are valid — you will not receive spam email.
Whitelisting noreply@classcreator.net is the single most important thing you can do to ensure you don't miss anything happening on our site or miss receiving emails from your fellow Classmates.
Stop and take a moment to whitelist noreply@classcreator.net right now, and ensure you stay connected!
Sincerely, The '73 Administrators
